Tell the cool kids, stick in their cool kid circles Let the guy drive fast and pass on the right The farther the fall, the higher the climb Oh a deep sigh, feel it so near, see it so clear, looking at fear In the eyes, a deeper disguise Another wolf in a cloak Another back stabber holding a knife Where are all the decent people? Looking for decent people Tell all the decent people We’re looking for decent people Tell all the decent people We’re looking for decent people Tell all the decent people We pulled out a knife Watch a fool jaywalk cross the intersection Watch a John grab ass and claim it’s his right The meaner the brawl, the harder the crime Oh deep sigh, believe what you hear, see it so clear, all of the fear in her eyes, Look when she cries Another narc in the lead Another old man taking our rights Where are all the decent people? Looking for decent people Tell all the decent people We’re looking for decent people Tell all the decent people We’re looking for decent people Tell all the decent people We pulled out a knife

The End 03:59
Make it simple Make it last Feel the boogie Shake your ass Oh so serious Mysterious Work so hard delirious What’s the truth? Watch it bend Sit here and wonder Is this the end? Is this the end? Faulted line Came in the night Shook the ground Watch us drown It’s been lovely girl knowing you Thought you’d be coming through Got bunkers and bathing suits A line of code, attributes Destroying everything Is this the end? Is this the end? Is this the end? Is this the end? These are unsettling times Weak on your knees poltergeist Sip up the Aperol Her brother on Fentanyl Don’t look away Maybe that look of yours Could make him stay Sharpen your tongue to sting Fallen deaf worshiping Say the things that you mean You said them in your dreams Is this the end? Is this the end? Is this the end? Is this the end? There’s a movement There’s a brawl Let’s get in it Down the hall You can make it If you fake it If you clean wipe and install Smoke and mirrors, Overextend Maybe he’ll dump her Cause it’s the end Oh it’s the end Oh these untenable times Push come to shove paradigm Are you serious Imperious Work so hard to then quit Ya it hurts so hard to admit It’s not worth the meal to then fit I’ve been holding on to hope for so long Keep dreaming, grip going strong Find meaning, bypass the leading A hustle never succeeding Some say that this too shall pass I’d love to make something last I thought you never would ask Is this the end? Oh it’s the end Here comes another cat call Don’t you let him make you small We all hate it Can you shake it Like a can aerosol Here comes another pit fall Hop on my shoulders stand real tall You can fake it, till you make it We can fight to save them all Smoke and mirrors, Made up amends The earth is crying Cause it’s the end Cause it’s the end Oh it’s the end Is this the end? Cause it’s the end Is this the end?

Froze, on the way, Henny cola making up my day Remember days we would smile at a stranger just passing us by Mood rings, cuffing jeans, popcorn flavor jelly bean latte On the shelves, tell ourselves, shaking bottles for our health and our high What if we said goodbye to all our troubles It’s the new thing You won’t believe it You won’t believe it It’s the new thing You won’t believe it You won’t believe it It’s the new thing You won’t believe it You won’t believe it VR living large Meta be in charge of the mind games Made up plans, in the sand, hold my hand while the surf is so high New wings, in the genes of the butterfly in your landscape Tell ourselves, we got wealth that’ll save us and put us in the sky What if we said goodbye to all our troubles What if we said goodbye to all our troubles It’s the new thing You won’t believe it You won’t believe it It’s the new thing You won’t believe it You won’t believe it You won’t believe it Oh it’s a new thing You won’t believe it It’s a new thing You won’t believe it You won’t believe it What if we said goodbye to all our troubles What if we said goodbye to all our troubles What if we said goodbye to all our troubles Oh it’s a new thing You won’t believe it It’s a new thing You won’t believe it You won’t believe it

about

From the pandemic to lanternfly invasions, climate catastrophes, earthquakes, is it the
end of the world as we know it?

On RYAL’s EP “The End is Near Here”, the
synth-electro duo that never stops RYAL, explores that very question. Are these the end of times?

“The End is Near Here” is a compilation unlike any other RYAL release, as they dip their toes into hip-hop interlaced with their signature synth/electro elements. The single of the EP titled“The End” was inspired by Beyonce’s Renaissance, Noga Erez and Blondie, the opening track a lyrical satire bop about dick-headed people called “Decent People” which the duo coined “this track is if Donna Summers and Jarvis Cocker’s Pulp had a baby”. Last but not least, the EP closes out with “A New Thing” a Harry Styles, MGMT moment that has one looking for what this world will look like far (or maybe near) into the future.
